Sulin was the absolute best thing that happened to me in my birthing journey. She was there for both my husband and I making sure we were well prepared for birth and fully aware of what to expect. Her presence, knowledge and constant reassurance made the entire process a smooth one and on the day of, gave me confidence to deliver my baby in the safest and most comfortable way possible. It was both a physical and mental experience; her guidance and knowledge of pressure points kept me calm throughout and made the pain very manageable. Sulin was by our side the entire time. I never thought I needed a doula until I had one. Now I honestly don’t know what I would do without. Sulin is an excellent doula. Before delivery, she checked in often via WhatsApp and provided very informtative prenatal classes. She always did her best to be available to answer my questions or provide contact info for specialists who could help with specific issues. When my delivery plan changed to a c-section, she provided tailored postpartum at-home visits to help with lactation, bathing, soothing techniques and many other things. Most importantly, she gave me and my husband confidence going into delivery and for taking care of our little one. I would highly recommend Sulin!

We had a wonderful experience with Sulin as our birth Doula for the VBAC birth of our second baby and we are incredibly grateful for her support throughout my wife’s labour. From the moment we called her, she responded immediately and came to our home without delay. Her presence was calm, friendly, and reassuring exactly what we needed.

We also appreciated the care she showed afterward through her follow-up, making sure everything went well post-delivery. As a bonus, she speaks French too, which could be a great asset for other French-speaking families.

Sulin supported me with the birth of my daughter, Alaia. When I started feeling contractions, she stayed on the phone with me and provided useful tips to try to breathe and relax. When I felt the pain was too much, she came to our house and never left my side. This was invaluable. If Google gave us 100 stars we would have selected it. Having Sulin support us on our FT parents experience really prepared us so much better for pregnancy & labour. We went into this with naturally too much conflicting information & Sulin was always available for us & provided so much guidance, wisdom, insights & education on what to expect during each phase of the pregnancy. We especially liked having a well-connected & trusted advisor to help us whenever we had new questions or concerns & as new parents were able to take comfort in this resource while enjoying the magical & rollercoaster experience of bringing a child into this world. Sulin gave me the space to explore what I wanted in my pregnancy & because we are a One & Done couple, this support was even more precious to us. Every concern or question or thought we had was validated with such compassion & comfort, we couldn't imagine doing this again without Sulin. We especially liked approaching the labour process with confidence in an additional advocate for our birth plan when things got too overwhelming & complicated. Sulin is well connected with tons of pre/postnatal practitioners, hospitals & OBGYNs. Her wide range of knowledge with different OBs & hospital processes also made things alot more seamless. ULTIMATELY if I had to be descriptive yet concise on what was the best help for us in this rollercoaster journey, it would be that when my birth plan went completely tits up due to ongoing GD & last minute GH, pre-eclampsia, fetal distress, Sulin's energy & presence was a stabiliser & continued to empower us through the decisions we had to make in the heat of the moment. My birthing suite did not look as sterile after her decorations - it felt like we were glamping LOL. Definitely helps after close to 40 hours of labour, 30 of which was unmedicated. The cherry on top would be the post-birth home visit & education to close off this beautiful experience. Sulin continues to be a core memory for us & is still proactively in touch with us to support & we are so grateful to have this relationship with her.

My dream natural birth wouldn’t be complete without our doula, Sulin. I met Sulin just a month before my due date. We started off with a zoom call and I felt resonated with her straight away. I took “The Wisdom Path” for my birth support. During that one month she gave me the best support - emotionally, physically and educationally. Sulin was our second back-up doula for our second child's birth because our original doula was away and baby took a while to come. And she made sure to meet us over video call, followed by a face to face meeting (even though she was not obliged to), in order to better prepare for the day of baby's arrival. She listened to how tough it had been and gave my body massages to relax and get ready for labour. She was also checking in on us daily and also came down to the hospital quickly when we called her to give her the signal on baby's impending arrival. During my short but intense labour, she was very attentive and present, ensuring I got what I needed - hip pushes and a peanut ball covered with warm towels. She also captured some beautiful memories for our family's keepsake and ensured we had the quality time of skin to skin bonding during the golden hour after the labour. She only left when I was in my room to make sure I was ready to rest. Even after the day, she went above and beyond her duties by writing a beautiful letter for my child to read and for us to remember the special birth-day as a value added service.
